oh hi!
I’m Ellisa! I’m a vocal coach, singer-songwriter, yoga instructor, and professional musician based in Nashville, TN. With over 10 years of experience teaching voice, I want to help you build confidence, improve your vocal technique, and discover your most authentic creative expression—whether through singing, songwriting, or performance.
I hold a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and Education from UC Santa Cruz. I studied under Whitney Nichole Cytryn at Songbird Studios in San Francisco in 2013, where I learned to guide students from a contemporary framework focused on vocal health and a balanced mind/body connection. I fell in love with Yoga and became a certified Yoga instructor in 2015 when I noticed the important connections between Yoga and singing.
As a soul/jazz artist, I have built a career on passion and perseverance. In 2018, I embarked on a nationwide tour in a 30-foot RV, performing 170 shows in 365 days across North America. My original music has been featured in various TV shows and movies, and I have performed at iconic venues including the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco and The Listening Room in Nashville.
Whether you're stepping into lessons for the first time or returning to your craft after years away, I want to help you connect with your voice!
